Charlie, Some great works here, I particularly like this one. It reminds me that oftentimes we (people) tend to overlook the obvious... People visit cathedrals & churches to view the mosaics and scultures... The architecture alone is stunning.
When I visited Italy years ago, I fell in love with the floor mosaics and patterns. Most churches allowed me to do "rubbings" with lead sticks and huge sketchbooks. Some, even let me in to private areas for additional rubbings.
